South Park and adidas have joined forces to celebrate 4/20 in 2021 with the launch of the adidas Campus 80s South Park Towelie sneakers. This release pays homage to Towelie, a lab-created, cannabis-consuming towel-shaped character who has appeared in more than a dozen South Park episodes and three games.
The adidas Campus 80s South Park Towelie features a Purple terrycloth upper with White leather overlays and Purple leather lining. Towelie's eyes are present on the tongue and change from white to bright red when exposed to sunlight. A hidden pouch in the tongue is big enough to fit the Towelie keychains that come with the sneakers. Towelie phrases such as "Don't Forget To Bring A Towel" and "I Have No Idea What's Going On" are also present on the inside of the tongue. A white outsole and adidas branding on the heel tab complete this South Park release.
