Air Jordan 1 Low: The Iconic Model in Low Version
The Air Jordan 1 Low, a low interpretation of the iconic model that began its journey in 1985. This symbol of both hip-hop and sports culture has a history as complex as it is detailed. Created by famous designer Peter Moore, also responsible for the Nike Dunk in the same year, the Air Jordan 1 Low shares a similar architecture and design to the Air Force 1, being the first sneaker marketed by the Air Jordan brand, co-created by Michael Jordan and Nike .
This model, initially designed for basketball, stands out for its signature with the famous 'Jordan Wings'. In terms of performance, Nike's Air technology since 1985 equips the sole to offer maximum comfort, support and reinforced ankle protection. The first version of this model, known as 'Bred', in addition to being banned by the NBA, was not to MJ's liking, who found the chosen colors quite connotative: 'They make me think of the devil', he said.
