Como Prevenir e Remover 'Creases' das tuas sapatilhas: Um guia passo-a-passo

The only downside to wearing your sneakers continuously is that over time, regardless of how much care you take, they will have creases at the front. The good news is that you don't need to get used to these because we will teach you in a step-by-step guide how to fix them.

Prevent Creases:

One of the best ways to prevent these creases is to use anti-crease protection. These are designed especially for this and are comfortable to use, they are placed inside the shoe at the front and do wonders to prevent wear and tear at the front. We recommend those from Crep Protect, which are available to buy here.

Remove Existing Creases:

If you already have these folds in the toe box of your sneakers, don't worry, with a few tools and tricks, you can easily restore your favorite sneakers. This is what you need:

  • Iron
  • Towel
  • Paper or Socks
  • Water

1st Step: Stuff your sneakers from the inside with newspaper or socks to ensure they take shape at the front.

2nd Step: Wet a towel, opt for a thicker towel to protect your sneakers from the heat.

3rd Step: Place the towel moistened directly in the crease area.

4th Step: Set the iron to approximately 20º Celsius and iron the towel in 10 second intervals. Check the crease under the towel to avoid any damage and to see if it has disappeared.

5th Step: Turn off the iron and remove the towel. Leave the shoes filled until they cool down.

Last touches:

You can admire your sneakers again, they're almost like new. Repeat this process until you are at the point where the folds have completely disappeared.

Please note that this method is most effective on synthetic leather or leather sneakers.

By following these steps, you will be able to keep your sneakers looking their best. Remember, a little care will help you preserve the quality and appearance of your shoes.
